21-Day-Fast Devotional - Day 10: Sharing the Gospel

Sharing the Gospel

written by Minister Dania Zurita

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19

Have you ever heard good news after everyone else, and felt that you were too late to benefit from it? How did you feel? Unfortunately, people do not feel bad about missing out on the Gospel. The reason could possibly be that many see the Gospel as a hindrance and are not “ready” for it. But this simply is not true! The Gospel is not a hindrance - it is meant to free us! The Gospel IS the best news and we have the opportunity to be its representatives.

I invite you to dive deeper into discipleship and love for others in spreading this amazing news. That we are free and able to enter into a relationship with our Creator because of the work of the cross! Following are some biblical truths you can share: The good news started at the beginning in Genesis where we learn that we serve a God that upholds all that exists (Gen 1); we are all children of a loving God who wants us to live abundantly and forever with Him (Psalm 146); God wants His children to see the true revelation of what is in their heart (James 22-24); sowing the living Word of God causes the seeds to germinate (1 Peter 1:23); and the Gospel brings light to a dark world (Psalm 119:105). God bless you as you share His Good News!

Reflection for today:

  1. When was the last time you had the opportunity to share this amazing news?

  2. Who shared the Gospel with you? How did that change your life?

Check back here, on the Christ Fellowship blog every morning at 6:30am, where that day’s devotional will be posted.
